From the town of Chamonix at 1000m altitude you can take the cable cabin up to 3842m altitude. The breath taking views are out of this world. You can see mountaineers or skieurs and there is also a glass bottomed platform... only for the brave.
L'aiguille du midi

This mountain train leaves from Chamonix and enters into the magical Mont-Blanc area where you will see the edge of the glacier named " la mer de glace".
You can already see how the glacier has considerably melted. You can take a cable cabin and steps to get to the ice and visit the magnificent lighted cave.

The ski area Chamonix Mont-blanc

At a 20 minute drive from the chalets you have the valley of Chamonix ski area . This area is for the expert skieurs. Ski amongst the mountain tops of 4000m high, a breath taking experience.
The ski area Evasion Mont-blanc

At a 15 minute drive from the chalets you have access to the Mont Blanc ski area. St Gervais, Megève, Les contamines, Combloux. These are 445km of slopes and 221 chairlifts.
The ski area Passy Plaine-joux
If you are a beginner or you would like to teach your children how to ski don't hesitate one minute in choosing the ski area of Passy Plaine Joux which is a perfect area for small children and beginners. You can also enjoy racket walking or just simply having a drink on one of the reataurant terraces and enjoying the magnificent views of the Mont Blanc range of mountains.

Swimming
A 3 minute drive and you are at the leisure base of Passy with its lake in which you can enjoy swimming or laying on the sandy beach and enjoying the view of the Mont Blanc.
You can also take a miniature boat ride or play mini golf . There are often other activities taking place at this area which is very pleasant during the summer months of the year

At a 5 minute drive you can also visit the leisure base at Sallanches named " les illettes" in which you can also wind surf.
Mountain walking
In a radius of 20 minutes you can visit the unique areas of the region.
You can walk in the Aravis range, the Fiz range , aiguilles rouge range or even the Mont Blanc range. Without a doubt everyone will find the right path for their capability, motivation or desire.
Trains et cablecabins
Always in a radius of 20 minutes from the chalets you have access to the "tramway du mont Blanc" and the train to " la mer de glace". You have also 5 or 6 cablecabins taking you to discover the famous views of the Mont Blanc area.
Mountain animals
In the area of "Les Houches" there is an alpine animal parc named " le parc de Merlet" where you can walk with your family on the mountain paths and discover all the alpine animals and also take in the breathtaking views of the Mont Blanc and " le glacier des Bossons". A great family day out.
